What's New

  The Lord has brought us into contact with Hong Yang who is instrumental in missions to Mongolia and China.  The planning for the Mongolia trip is going well and everyone's flights are made.  Amy in Mongolia is arranging our rooms.  She is also working with Pastor Davaa to get us a place to set up clinics and get interpreters for witnessing.  We have also been in contact with Dr. Lushington in Trinidad and Tobago.  The Lord has opened doors for us to go there as well. 

   We plan on the Mongolia trip to be from July1-14, 2008.  Please be in prayer for the Lords leading in your decision to possibly join FOMMM on it's next trip to Mongolia or the following one to Trinidad and Tobago.  It will be an adventure.  Since the cancellation of the Kenya trip the Lord has stirred our heart to minister there despite the problems since the elections.  The locals in Kenya tell us it is safe.  We plan on going to Kenya in May, '08 and will go by ourselves if necessary.  FOMMM cannot be responsible for a teams safety and do not plan on bringing one.  If the Lord leads you to come to Kenya, you may do so at your own risk.  We are going from May 20-27, 2008.

 

Street Ministry

   The past summer was extremely fruitful in evangelism.  There were many that heard the gospel.  We had those who wanted more information and had some heckle us and try to drive us out of certain areas.  There were a lot of new people coming out to witness 1-2-1 and some open air type preaching was done.  We had a newbie break through and do this.

   It is difficult in the winter here to do outdoor ministry.  Not that we have extreme weather, but the rainy season gets people to hibernate.  The mall in the winter is our hot spot.  They don't like us tracting but we do a little of that and have a lot of 1-2-1 conversations.    

   A church I found has a pastor that has gone through the training that we offer through Way of The Master.  He is going to give us a date to train their church with a one day seminar.  Praise God.  We look for more laborers to join the harvest.

   As spring nears, we will be getting a calendar set up with the dates of our local events, parades, and fairs.  This way we can let our team know when the next opportunities will be to seek and save that which is lost.
